Canine mind is authored by Lizi Angel. Lizi is an independent dog behaviour psychologist serving the North Oxfordshire, South Northamptonshire, South & East Warwickshire and West Buckinghamshire areas of the UK. Dogs (as well as an extensive menagerie of other creatures) have been part of her life since childhood, and her practical experience living with, observing and training dogs, working in boarding kennels, and puppy socialising for Banbury based assistance dog charity, Dogs for the Disabled, has contributed greatly to her formal knowledge of canine psychology.
Lizi holds a Diploma in Canine Behaviour Psychology, has completed an Animal Aiders Dog First Aid Training Course, and is an associate member of the International Association of Canine Professionals. Always keen to increase her knowledge and skills, she is currently studying for a Diploma in Animal Communication.

She strongly advocates a holistic approach to behaviour therapy, helping owners to understand what dogs really need to be physically, mentally and emotionally healthy, and working to reach and resolve the source of problematic behaviour rather than train away the symptoms.

She also offers free, informal advice to the puppy party clients of Mansion Hill Veterinary Surgery in Middleton Cheney, is a volunteer dog assessor for Labrador Rescue SE & C, and is a member of Up’n’Over DTC in Upper Heyford.

Lizi has shared her adult life with nine dogs to date, including her present canine companions 3-year-old Labrador/terrier mix, Tilly (left) and 18-month-old Labrador, Beau (right).
Lizi is also an artist, a British Wheel of Yoga instructor, an Usui Reiki practitioner, and company director of husband David's Russian motorcycle business, F2 Motorcycles Ltd.
